Defined by the unpredictable and shaped by the mystical, Daniel's forthcoming presentation aims to uncover "the good, the bad and the ugly", where linear narratives, tradition and the internet's ghosts go on trial against our current daily life. Through personal and absurdist lenses, he invites us to step out of our comfort zone and embrace disrupted narratives, irrational joy and uncomfortable pleasures. "no problem, here's hyperfocus in the echochamber" is a testament for our Sisyphean search for clarity and beauty, in a world dominated by skepticism and polarization.

Tell us about Pharmakon.

Pharmakon Gallery is a contemporary art gallery opened back in February of this year, presenting artists from emerging as well as established artists, challenging conventional narratives through diverse mediums. The name, meaning both remedy and poison, shows art as both the question and the answer to numerous curiosities we have.

What do you have upcoming?

Currently we have on view the solo show of Dutch artist Daniel Van Straalen, and we prepare the summer programme consisting of the master diploma show by Dimitrie Luca Gora and a group exhibition titled "Nothing Sacred", the third iteration of an on-going curatorial format focused on artistic urgency and experimentation.
